CHROMA by Mari Barros was created from the desire to take color, movement, and emotion beyond the canvas — to create pieces that can be worn, lived, and felt.

Each necklace is born after the artist completes her paintings. Mari begins every collection by creating original artworks filled with the energy of her brushstrokes and the vibrancy of her Brazilian roots. These paintings become the visual source for the pieces. In this first collection, four artworks gave life to 13 exclusive necklaces.

What makes CHROMA special is the union of art and craftsmanship. Once the paintings are finished, the designs are transformed into wearable art using resin, rope, and imagination. The necklaces are handcrafted by Brazilian women artisans in Rio de Janeiro — Mari’s hometown — who carefully translate the artist’s colors into unique, bold, expressive pieces.

These accessories are fragments of art, shaped by hands that believe in beauty with purpose. No two pieces are ever the same. Each necklace carries the emotion of the original painting and the touch of the women who craft them.
